# FAQ

Common troubleshooting questions for Dos-OP API

<summary><strong>API Access</strong></summary>

if you are experiencing issues accessing the API, please verify the following:

* Your API key has not expired (**Profile → API Keys**).
* You are using the correct API key for the product you want to access.
* Your API key has access to the selected product: Smart Search, Threat Search

</details>

<summary><strong>Search Processing Time</strong></summary>

If you are using **Smart Search** and a search takes longer than **5 minutes**, or if a **Threat Search** scope has not been approved within **24 hours**, please contact our support team.

<summary><strong>Search Status Remains Pending</strong></summary>

If you are using **Threat Search** and this is your first search for a domain, the requested scope must be reviewed and approved by a moderator. Until the review process is completed, the search status will remain **Pending**.

Once approved, future searches for the same domain will start immediately.
